Murphy ends mask mandate on NJ Transit

Gov. Phil Murphy has ended the rule requiring face coverings on NJ Transit, a day after a federal judge voided the national mask mandate covering airplanes and other public transportation.

Hours after the Transportation Security Administration said it will no longer enforce the mandate, Murphy fired off an early morning tweet lifting the requirement on NJ Transit trains, buses and light rail as well as on South Jersey Transportation Authority travel. Read more at NJ.com
